    If the Alberta Invasive Species (AIS) inspection station is open, all watercraft must be inspected before entering the campground. The AIS station will be located in the Canoe Meadows parking lot. Please allow extra time and expect delays during busy periods.

    This clinic introduces Paddle Canada's River 2 Skills, Jet-ferry and S-turn, while safely paddling down class II currents. Utilizing large eddies participants can expect to apply their River 1 eddy turns to stronger currents. A short fun introduction to a surf wave.

    An evening of gear demos! AQ Outdoors will be on site with a fleet of demo kayaks and paddles from brands including Werner, Jackson, Pyranha, and Dagger, while Hala Gear will have a wide selection of SUPs available to try. Additional equipment from KanFests other vendors may be available.

    The aim of this program is to have paddlers develop the skills necessary to prepare, set up, and land boofs with style and confidence. Throughout the course, you will work on a combination of edge control, cross-current speed and stroke timing to nail your boof.
