Curious about whitewater SUP? Come give it a try - no SUP experience required!
This free stand-up paddleboard clinic at Thunder Bunny is open to paddlers of any boat type who are comfortable paddling and swimming in class II whitewater. It’s a relaxed, supportive opportunity to try river SUP surfing and paddling with a bit of guidance - this not a formal intro to whitewater sup course.
SUP and paddles will be provided by the local SUP community, but participants must bring their own PFD and helmet to take part.
Whether you’re a kayaker, rafter, or canoeist looking to try something new, we’d love to have you join us and test the waters on a board.

The aim of this program is to have paddlers develop the skills necessary to prepare, set up, and land boofs with style and confidence. Throughout the course, you will work on a combination of edge control, cross-current speed and stroke timing to nail your boof.
