A guided river-surfing lesson on the Kananaskis River at the Mountain Wave. The aim is to teach safe river-surfing practices, how to catch a wave, and how to exit the river with low risk.  All equipment included! 

This lesson is designed for individuals with little to no river surfing experience and takes place in a more dynamic, natural environment than Harvie Passage. It is ideal for strong swimmers or people with previous white-water sports experience or as second lesson after Harvie Passage. 

This Course is provided by our sponsor The Alberta River Surfing Association (ARSA). ARSA was founded in 2005 and incorporated in 2011 as an Alberta registered not-for-profit. The Alberta RSA is recognized by Surf Canada as the Alberta Provincial Sports Organization for surfing. The ARSA built and maintains the river surfing waves in Alberta.
