About the event
The Informal Upper Kan Run is exactly what it sounds like. A casual meet-up for paddlers to reconnect with friends, find a crew, and enjoy a few laps on one of Alberta's most iconic whitewater runs. This is not a guided trip, lesson, or organized KanFest activity; participants are responsible for their own safety, group selection, and river decisions. It's simply an opportunity to get on the water, catch up with the paddling community, and celebrate the river that brings us all together.
